How much flow can be pumped?
The BT series peristaltic pump can provide a flow range of 0.035 to 2280 ml/min.
How accurate is the flow rate?
After adopting the calibrated flow pump system, the flow error range can be less than +/-0.5%. Using other pump systems, the flow error range can be less than +/-3%, which meets the requirements of general pumping applications.
Are the volume measurements repeatable?
With the calibrated pump system, the repeat error of the volume measurement can be less than or equal to +/-0.25%.
What effect does viscosity have on fluidity?
The fluidity of all fluids is based on the fluidity of water. The greater the viscosity of the fluid, the lower the flow rate.
Pump head
What is the upper pressure limit?
Depends on the pump tube used. Under normal circumstances, the upper pressure limit of the pump tube is 40 psig (2.7 bar); the nominal pressure is 25 psig (1.7 bar). The company’s PTFE pump head has an upper pressure limit of 100 pounds per square foot during operation.
What is the upper limit of inlet pressure?
It depends on the inner diameter, wall thickness and material of the pump tube used. Normally, the upper pressure limit at the inlet is 40 psi (2.7 bar). The company’s PTFE pump head has an upper pressure limit of 100 pounds per square foot during operation.
Can the peristaltic pump run idly?
Can. It can pump gas, liquid and multiphase mixed fluid. However, the company's PTFE pump head will overheat when idling, so it cannot pump gas.
Is the peristaltic pump a self-priming pump?
Yes. It can generate a vacuum of more than 26 inches of mercury (660 mm of mercury).
Is the peristaltic pump a positive displacement pump?
Yes. The flow of water is proportional to the speed of the rotor.
Is the peristaltic pump non-siphonic?
Yes. At any moment, there is always a roller pressed through the pump tube to lock it, so there will be no backflow.
Can you pump slurry fluids or abrasive solutions?
Can. However, the upper limit of the pumpable viscosity and particle size is related to the inner diameter of the pump tube used.
Is it easy to replace the pump tube?
Not difficult. Easy-install pump head, easy-install II pump head, high-performance pump head, cassette pump head, and quick-install pump tube can be replaced quickly and easily. For the standard pump head, the pump tube can be easily replaced as long as the supplied pump key is used.
Driver
Can one driver carry multiple pump heads?
Can. Any number of (generally 2 or 4) standard pump heads or easy-to-install pump heads can be grouped together in any combination, as long as the maximum torque of the driver is not exceeded.
